As usual, it's mostly in the wintertime that label boss Didier Beydts actually does something productive. And after a long while, he's back on his own imprint. Two tracks are brand new, two others are re-issues of tracks he did on sublabel Forteana Records.

First track 'Vegans Are Tasty' is a distorted Techno track, booming fiercely, moody with some CW/A'ish strings but with some party hardy sounds smuggled in between for dance floor effect.

Second track 'Drumsicon' is basically all about the ba... I mean, percussion. Heavy hitting basskick, lots of drumstick and woodblocks going haywire and enough cowbell to make Christopher Walken jealous.

'The Gates To Sadness' is a different story: a bit dark and gloomy, but still very seriously pounding. Especially the break is really deep in this track, completely tearing the track down layer by layer until nothing remains, only to rebuild all from scratch.

'Drum Nutter' is a track that has been out on Forteana for a while, but never on Coincidence. It fitted this EP rather well so we decided to give it a rinse, a shampooing and a colonoscopy and re-release this bad boy to the broader audience. We hope you'll dig it as much as the Belgian Djs loved it back then, like Double U Jay or Seba Lecompte who blasted this track everywhere.

Needless to say, all mastered to perfection by the talented Mr. Misjah at 24 Mastering.
