It was a few years back when RPTR debuted on Coincidence. He made one of the standout tracks of the infamous Twelve compilation series. So, we are really excited to see him return to the mothership.
RPTR is from Antwerp where he has been tirelessly working on his productions and a career as a DJ. Highlights thus far: Dour Festival and Club Vaag. Meanwhile, he developed his own style of hard-as-nails, heavy but crisp produced Techno with a lot of humour and an amazing party attitude. So... here's his debut EP on the label, entitled 'EMMA' .

The title track is built around a bit of a joke, but if you aren't Dutch speaking, chances are you're not going to get the punch line. Let's just say that it's a fierce Rave Techno stomper that will surely go down well any body cavity, where ever you play it.
Second track 'Knarsetanden', now there's a word you can google and the translation should make any raver grin. A brutal, straight to the core, basskick driven tune is the result. This was tested and approved by the container ravers at Dour, so doureeeeeuh indeed.
The remix of Knarsetanden is done by Techno nouveau royalty Wanton. If you were hiding under a rock in recent times: crawl from under there, son. Wanton has quickly made a name as mastering engineer, driving force behind Black Mass Agency, Producer and DJ. From our home turf Ghent he has been sending bombardments of uncompromising Techno to the dance floors and even on a float of Love Parade's recent reincarnation. His remix is testament to that ambition: full of relentless fire, hard as the nails in the coffin of a metal worker, skilfully crafted.

A nice pack yet again, so we hope you'll dig this new all-Belgian release on Coincidence. Can't wait.
