For the final release of 2022, we travel to Japan. Nobuharu Morimoto sent us three tracks that are simply divine. In full Japanese Techno tradition, expect nifty drum sequencing, unexpected sounds and melodic elements that just stand out - in lack of a better description.

Kyou (京) is deep, dark and hypnotic from the start. The lead loops over a sonic carpet of amazing percussive layers and errie voices looping in the back. Wabisabi (侘び寂び) somehow took me back to the work of Takkyu Ishino, who used to be one of my heroes back in the day. Those relentless drum loops and smart stabs just click perfectly. Nami (波) is what I like to call a 'perfect driving track': it sounds like you are speeding through tunnels, underneath a sleeping city. You feel one with the car and the music just sharpens your focus. Sorry for the Tokyo Drift type of talk, but you get what I mean.

Three tracks from a talented producer who I hope will have lots more where this came from. We hope you love it just as much!
