PsyTox has been dj'ing since 1989 on parties throughout Belgium and the neighboring countries. Rather than being pigeonholed into one style of music, he mixes very eclectic sets, including elements of acid, house, techno, deephouse, minimal, breakz, dubstep, d'n'b,... . It has brought him to a wide variety of venues in different scenes. With dj sets at established events such as MuZZiC, KozzMozz, Intenze (with Andre Galluzzi), Minimalicious (with Andrew Weatherall), Rave Our Souls, FunkYou,… and venues such as Fuse, Decadance or Silo, he has been known to play extensive sets (up to 15 hours straight) which incorporate elements of all these styles, building up to climaxes and telling a story through the music. Together with Edward Molton he also founded his own imprints Coincidence and the vinyl counterpart Coincidence.lmtd. He also produces and releases on that label. This EP contains three tracks and an additional remix which didn't make it on the actual release, but we felt it needed to be out there anyway. The title track is a oldskool techno stomper inspired by a dj set by Marcello, a dutch dj and former resident of legendary club It. When I first heard this track I was crazy about it but never could find what it was, so I just tried to make my own version. ""Lexington Avenue"" is a tech house groover with some fierce hooks and distortion that makes it a tad strange to say the least. ""Streaklov Sure Loves Streaking"" is a techno-meets-dibstep track that takes various elements of styles into a very unusual combination. Not for everyone, but those brave ones who will use it on a dancefloor will see that it really works well. The fourth track is PsyTox' remix of 'I Am', a long buildup with some effects over the voice and a serious kick to make it go completely nuts when it finally hits.
