One of the people that impressed us the most in the past year was Gedevaan, a producer and DJ based in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Although the man isn't really hiding out he is a bit of a mystery, but his constant output is testament to a deep love for distorted, acid fueled, industrial Techno. We are extremely proud that he found some time to drop a couple of great tracks on our doorstep.

Title song "Solution" immediately sets the pace for what's to come: distorted bleeps on a bed of bitcrushed and flangered electronic sounds swirl and growl their way through the track, to the beat of a nicely crafted bass kick loop.

"Genesis" is relatively more accessible yet the dark and threatening background sounds won't exactly make it a track for the faint hearted. The break is exceptional: brutal, high-pitched white noise distorted to perfection.

If you like Karenn, Blawan or Paula Temple, you'll love the third track "Adherent". A drum loop that goes on with military precision and gradually dissapears towards the end of the track, and bitcrush madness on top that simply sounds hypnotic. Brilliant stuff if you ask us.

The last track "Rescue" is the odd one out. Weird. Spooky. Scary. Hypnotic. Slightly disturbing. And yet you can't help listening to it again and again.

Add to that the pretty amazing mastering job that our friend Dimitri Andreas did, and you know that this can be one of those releases that might just turn a lot of heads next year.
